THE MONT TERRI CAPROCK INTEGRITY & GAS STORAGE SYMPOSIUM
A second edition of high quality
The second Caprock Integrity and Gas Storage Symposium, CIGSS, was held on 27 and 28 January 2026 at the Mont Terri visitor centre in Saint-Ursanne. With around sixty participants from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States, this second edition was a great success. With contributions of high scientific quality, CIGSS has established itself as an essential platform in the field of CO₂ storage and caprock integrity in particular. The Mont Terri rock laboratory has been conducting experiments on this topic for some fifteen years.
